From the Isabel Marant pour H&M Grazia.it shooting: Gaia Venuti is the creative mind behind the supercool Bahama Mama and Black Mama Studio in Milan, the places to be if you want to relax and be beautiful and if you love to dance. She’s got a strong, sharp personality that her style totally reflects. I just love these pics of her, and her hair floating in the wind looks so beautiful and natural it’s too perfect to be true!

We were so lucky at Grazia.it to have the chance to shoot the Isabel Marant pour H&M collection before it actually hit the stores. The amazing Alessia Campostrini shot our it-girls along the beautiful Naviglio in Milan, and I took advantage of the situation by stealing some analogic pics.
The first ones are those of Chiara Totire, such an incredible, original beauty from the South of Italy. She’s already a street-style photographers’ darling for obvious reasons, and I’m sure we’ll hear a lot more about her soon.

Here are some pics that I shot with my Minolta for my friend Alan’s shoe brand Bottega dell’Artigiano, a supersweet Made in Italy brand located in Cattolica, very close to my hometown. I love that you can play with the flat shoes and sandals, creating different styles, from preppy, to Summer cool, to bon ton and romantic, and I assure you they’re the softest thing to try on.
With Alessandra we had so much fun at the lake that I wanted to share some pics that aren’t actually in the “official” lookbook (since you can’t really see the shoes duh!). To enjoy them all you just need to go to Bottega dell’Artigiano Facebook fanpage (and like it!).
My beautiful friend Erika at Cristina’s wedding. Craving a little bit of sun and heath while browsing these August pics!
Marina again, this time shot with my old Minolta. I really don’t know what happened to the film at some point, but I love what came out of it.
Afternoon in Salò, on the shores of the lovely Lake of Garda, with friends and their beautiful children.

Lake Tekapo, South Island, New Zealand
Catching up with our analogic New Zealand‘s pics. The beauty of these places hurts a bit everytime I take a look at our pictures or think about it. What a marvellous magic country.
My cousin Federica (Chicca) works at Columbia University in New York, which besides of being the coolest thing to do and the coolest place to live is also SO far away from us.
We grew up together and we love each other a lot, we spent some amazing holidays together, a road trip in Greece, a no-sleep week in Puertorico and New York of course, which are amongst my most cherished memories. So when she came back for Spring break after a conference in Spain, we took the chance to spend some time together and shoot some pics in our garden (yes, “our garden” beacuse we lived practically in the same house for let’s say 20 something years).
Now she’s gone again, but Summer will take her back to Italy and to our garden, in the meantime I’ll prepare my camera.
