Blackhair’s pics
Alice is the daughter of Andrea (my husband’s cousin) and Anna (who looks a lot like Hanne Gaby Odiele, you hear me?), so I don’t know what this makes her to me, niece? Little cousin? Never understood how these things work. Well, Alice has already a thing for being shot at, she looks straight in the lens and she smiles, happy to be photographed. And it’s always rewarding, because she’s already beautiful with her pale blue eyes and her sweet complexion.

Blackhair’s pics
Ale is wearing Lazzari bicolor dress in both styles: the pale pink silk with black details and the yellow mustard with brown details. I love them both, the yellow one, more edgy and cool to wear with Dr Martens boots and the pale pink one, more delicate, to match with heels for an evening out or with ballerinas and flats for the afternoon.

PS the cat name is Ellen and she was pretty bored to have us around all afternoon shooting while she was trying to sleep!

I have a major crush on Maya Villiger‘s work and on good old film photography. She’s been working for Grazia.it with amazing collages and flipbooks and when during Milan Fashion Week I met her I had the chance to see her at work, carefully studying her subjects, never obvious and always so inspiring. And she’s from New Zealand, and even if she lives in New York in some way I got to think her being so “artistic” has also a little bit to do with her coming from such a magical place. Can’t wait to be there in a month.
